Robert V. Fleming 1944-2006

It is with the deepest regret that the Bayport Fire Department announces the untimely passing of 12 year member Ex-Captain Robert V Fleming, father of Captain Robert Fleming.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bayport funeral home on Monday July 24 from 1900-2130, Tuesday 1400-1630 & 1900-2130. Firematic services will be held on Tuesday July 25 at 19:30 hours. Members are to be in Class A uniform with dark pants.

Bob was employed by the Long Island Railroad for 27 years, retiring only a few years ago. He was commander of the American Legion for over 16 years. Bob is survied by his wife Clarise, sister Betty, sons Michael and Robert and three grandchildren.
